With an expansive palette of covers ranging from the Beatles and Beyonce to Led Zeppelin and Lady Gaga, Tubular defies instrumental boundaries in their vigorously entertaining live shows. Audiences are delighted by Tubular’s quirky versions of their favorite songs, and leave shows saying things like, “I never thought I would twerk to a euphonium!”
Tubular’s members spend their days playing in the premier cultural institutions of the east coast, only to don leather pants and too much hair product by night, when they bring your favorite songs into the lowest of tessituras to thrill audiences who literally didn’t know tubas could do that. Audience members are encouraged to bring their singing voices, dancing shoes, and party pants--in that order; change of underwear optional.
